A Lesbian's Life was founded to provide women with information and entertainment that explores the depth, richness and variations of our many life experiences. With this website and the search for storylines, we expect to build the portal, begin filming several TV documentaries this summer and publish two books due out in 2007. Each distribution channel promises to address real-life issues in the lives of women who have not had the benefit of a voice that reaches into our community.

This web site hopes to inspire and empower our dynamic spirits and to provide you with an ongoing series of thought-provoking, humorous and compelling stories built upon your contributions.

We are encouraging women to share their life experiences with us or submit comments within the discussion board when they find a topic of interest. There are dozens of subjects we will begin to examine, and on the first of every month we will notify you of each of these by email. It is our hope that many of the subjects will stimulate you to share your own invaluable experiences.

The storylines are meant to be open and honest explorations of our world, our stories and beliefs. We hope that by sharing our lives with one another, we will create an extraordinary sense of community and a wealth of resources which we may all draw upon when needed.

A Lesbian's Life was founded in June 2006 by entrepreneur, Donna Meté. The site was created to provide women with information and entertainment that explores the depth, richness and variations of our many life experiences. Many of the services we offer are free to women. With this newly launched website, our blog and an upcoming book, we expect to continue to expand the portal and begin filming an exciting new TV series. Each effort promises to address real-life issues in the lives of women who have not had the benefit of a voice that reaches far into our community and our world. We are committed to initiating a meaningful dialogue around issues important to all of us, to dispelling myths that exist within and outside of the community and to do away with the limited, stereotypical representations of lesbians that are prevalent today.

We hope to inspire you and to provide an ongoing series of thought-provoking, humorous and compelling opinions.

Some of these topics include gender decisions, parenting, being single, BDSM, love and loss, bisexuality and knowing when to let go...along with dozens of other fascinating subjects. Our Expert's Corner will invite numerous professionals to share their insights and expertise with us on a monthly basis and believe their presence will be of tremendous value. Stonewall Communities Inc., a non-profit organization, was created to better understand and advocate for the needs of older lesbians, gay men and their friends. Stonewall Communities strives to provide a range of options, from their residential communities such as "Stonewall Audubon Circle," the nation's first urban LGBT retirement community located in Boston, Massachusetts, to their service arm "Stonewall Connections," which helps seniors age in their own homes.
